STEPHEN G. MARKS
Stephen Marks is a dedicated probity practitioner. He has unparalleled experience as a probity auditor and advisor throughout Australia. His probity auditing experience encompasses the majority of major contracts, privatisations and outsourcings in this Country. He has personally acted in respect of over one hundred probity advisory and auditing assignments and is widely respected for his work.
He is an experienced Chartered Accountant with in excess of 29 years experience in public practice, acting as a consultant and financial advisor to both the public and private sectors. He also has extensive hands on business and management experience and sits on a number of Government Boards. He is an Official Liquidator of the Supreme Court of Victoria.
CELIA GERREYN
Celia is both a qualified accountant and solicitor, specialising in urban re-development, major projects and structured finance for over 16 years. She joined the practice of Stephen G Marks and Co as a Probity Consultant in July 2005.
Celia was General Counsel and Board Secretary of the Docklands Authority (and its successor, VicUrban) from 1996 to 2005. In that capacity she was the General Manager responsible for all probity, bid management and legal aspects of $7.8billion of development, including project managing the bid process for the $460m Telstra Dome.
In late 2004, Celia was awarded the Australian Government Lawyer of the Year by the Australian Corporate Lawyers Association.
Celia is now utilising this extensive experience in representing the firm in a number of complex and diverse probity assignments.
